This footage was filmed near Kashmiri Gate, Delhi, documenting severe waterlogging during July 2023 following intense monsoon rainfall and rising water levels near the Yamuna floodplains. Being located close to the river, the Kashmiri Gate area was among the worst affected zones, with roads submerged and normal movement severely disrupted. The visuals show waterlogged streets with water levels reaching up to waist height, forcing pedestrians to wade through flooded roads to cross short distances. Some individuals are seen attempting to push or ride motorcycles and bicycles through the flooded stretch, highlighting both the lack of alternatives and the urgency faced by commuters.
