Ramadan is a holy month in Islam it is the ninth month in Islamic calendar, during this month Muslims do not eat or drink from sunrise to sunset. Iftar is one of the religious observances of Ramadan and is often done as a community, with people gathering to break their fast together. During Ramadan, the streets of Old Delhi becomes a paradise for food lovers. The lane opposite Jama Masjid is flooded with a variety of mouthwatering dishes and fruits on the streets. Be it the Keema Samosa, Biryani, Pakodas, Rumali Roti, Butter Chicken Masala, To cool down, there are drums filled with Rooh Afza sherbet and dishes of Dahi vada.
