The plains of Punjab flooded after heavy monsoon showers hit the state. Disaster management officers are seen on a lifeboat taking stock of the flood situation. NDRF personnel and security forces are seen rescuing the residents who are cut off from the safer lands due to the flooding. Young children, women and older individuals are evacuated to the higher lands along with dry rations.
