Vehicles are freely moving on the road of Thimphu city without any traffic congestion as there is very good traffic management with very strict traffic rules and regulations. There is proper parking space assign to park the cars along the road side to avoid from traffic jams and congestions problem. The main road traffic rules in Bhutan are driving is on the left site of the road, the minimum driving age for light vehicles is 18 years and for medium and heavy vehicles is 21 years. In towns, speed limits are from 8 km/h to 20 km/h. The maximum speed limit in urban areas is 30 km/h and 50 km/h is the maximum speed limit in the country.
