A rafting expert teaches the tourists about rafting on the banks of river Ganga in Rishikesh in Uttarakhand. A rafting instructor speaks about rafting equipment. He says, "After the life jackets the third one is paddles. On the river, paddles are our steering, accelerator, brake and this is very important with few things. The T grips, sometimes what happens, if we leave this T Grip the paddle becomes free and it could hurt somebody. It is very easy if you use your hips as a lever to keep paddle here steady and both the elbows twist a little bit back deep and pull blade into the water and pull water towards the front."
