An elephant in musth is not a safe proposition as a neighbour. He comes in from the forest, walks around the village, helping himself to banana trees, pots of water (spraying himself as he goes along) and generally pokes his nose into every village home helping himself to anything that smells good. A street dog comes to investigate but decides to opt for caution and runs backwards.
