A lovely bridge across a Himachali trout torrent is what greets the traveller to the Kasol region. While the water is muddy from rains upstream, the water is pure as well. Traffic rushes along the state highway next door. What lovely evening warm light over the deodar forests along the Parvati River in Himachal Pradesh's Kasol village. Trout teem in the river, while the hamlet still has apple orchards around, but the town is getting crowded with a lot of fresh construction. Kasol is a hamlet in the district Kullu of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar and Manikaran.
