The entrance gate of India Peace Memorial which was constructed by the Japanese at Maibam Lokpaching on the Tiddim Road, Manipur. This was constructed by the Japanese Government on the site of the Battle of Red Hill (Pt. 2926) or Maibam Lokpaching, on the Tiddim Road. The Battle took place from May 20-29, 1944, and was the closest the Japanese got to Imphal from the south.
