Navratri 2021 shows rows of small clay idols of Maa Durga displayed at a roadside artisan stall in New Delhi. The idols are seated on lions with multiple arms holding traditional attributes, while their crowns and saris are painted in various colours and decorated with glittering details. A masked craftsman uses a fine brush to paint the face of one Durga idol, while unfinished figures wait nearby. A larger decorated Durga idol stands beneath a tree with a colourful halo, painted ornaments, and traditional objects in her hands. The footage captures the hand-painting and finishing work carried out by artisans before the festival.
