Durga Puja is an important festival for Hindus especially from eastern India and this involves idols of the Hindu goddess Durga. This shack on the sidewalk in New Delhi is lined with multiple clay idols as they await customers. Some of the idols are decorated, some are still under the process of painting. This is an important aspect of celebrating the festival which would be incomplete without these handmade idols.
