Summer-monsoon, when everything comes to a standstill with the downpour as heavy as can been seen in the video, Nepal experiences this quite often. Such weather makes it difficult for the adventure seekers to go out or trek further as the water streams down the jaggedy steps of Ghandruk making it difficult to trek. Fortunately, we had our ponchos along and had them ready while we were filming birds in Ghandruk. However, with the storm of such magnitude made it difficult for us to move as the steps of Ghandruk had a stream of their own.
