You would be wondering seeing different people in different dresses buying fresh organic vegetables back in 1990's in Bhutan. most vegetables in the Farmer’s Market are seasonal, the dried chilies are the only permanent feature throughout the year. you will see a display a wide variety of green and red long chillies, potatoes, brinjals and other vegetables. Men are wearing the traditional attire known as Gho and Women are wearing Kira. Vegetables like Olachaotho, naakeei , phachaa , rai saag and etc are easily available in the jungles of Bhutan but too hard to find in India. It might give a stroke to someone with the fact that, it costs 1000 Ngultrum for a kilo of dried traditional red chillies.
