Thimphu is a store house of traditional Bhutanese art, architecture, culture, and tradition and above all still so pure. Groups of villagers from different district comes to sell organic vegetables. You can smell all the different types of incense, some yak cheese, Bhutan antique handicrafts, etc…The Handicrafts stores displays a wide variety of hand woven and crafted products like masks, prayer wheels, decorative motifs, handmade paper, rings and ornaments, and woven wool or silk clothes, precious stones etc… You even get the national newspaper Kunsel published both in English and dzongkha languages in the Sabji Bazaar.
