Heavy ho! Not quite the song of the Volga boatmen, but hauntingly similar! Monolith of solid stone dragged by tribals to their village. The person who had taken the most heads was to stand on the stone while it is dragged. The monolith is then set up in front of the peace givers' home or a conspicuous place in the village... Chakhesang is a Naga tribe found in Nagaland, India. The word Chakhesang comprises three tribes: cha - Chakri, Khe - Khezha, Sang - Sangtam. Chakhesangs are the former Eastern, who have separated from the Angami Naga tribe, and are now recognized as a separate tribe. It is a major tribe in Nagaland.
