These shepherds bring their large flocks of sheep down from the high mountains to graze in our winter forests, thus destroying the under storey of the forest and its vegetation, and also possibly spreading diseases to forest animals. The conflict that ensues causes immense pressure and strain on wild animals and hbabitats, while clear felling under storey vegetation that is the prime hiding ground for pheasants and hunting ground for thrushes, and nesting ground and cover for other small birds. wildfilmsindia would like to extend the reach of it conservation initiatives and protect these forests in entirety, thus preventing such human conflict in our critical habitats.
