Elgin Silver Oaks in Kalimpong is a two-storey stone hotel set on a landscaped grassy slope, with large arched windows, a dark pitched roof, ornamental trees and flowering gardens surrounding the building. The classic interiors feature polished wooden floors, red sofas, vintage-style armchairs, oriental rugs, framed artwork and large windows with traditional drapes. Crystal chandeliers, wall sconces and table lamps provide warm lighting throughout the lounge, while ceiling fans complement the traditional interior design. The hotel’s bar features a long dark wooden counter, red upholstered stools and wooden shelving with mirrored panels displaying bottles and glassware.
