Eramo Shanjamo Jungi statue at Yikhum village is dedicated to Shanjamo Jungi who is said to be the first Naga to go to the US and obtain foreign education. Born in 1882, he was baptised by Rev. W.F.Dowd on 4th January 1889. His early days schooling was from Dr. clarks mission school, Impur which is also the oldest school in Nagaland. From there, a missionary lady from USA Dr/ Mrs S.A.Parrine took him America on 27th December 1904. He studied at Trenton Junction School, New Jersey, USA in 1905 and at Port Norris Public School, NJ, USA in 1906. Later on 2nd May 1907 he joined Mt. Hermon School till 23rd April 1908. He came back to Impur, Nagaland 27th November 1908. Home of Lothas having a total geographical area of 1628 Sq. Km, accounting 9.82% of the total geographical area of the State,
