At Shonkhalia in Ajmer district of Rajasthan, the monsoon has played its cards well. The fields and adjoining low lying areas have been flooded with the rainwater. Shonkhalia is famous for its bird sightings of the endangered Great Indian Bustard and the Lesser Florican. Dry state of Rajasthan holds up a completely new, fresh and wet look in the monsoon.
