This footage, captured during the July 2023 monsoon in Delhi, shows the dramatic extent of the flooding that hit several low-lying underpasses across the city. In this scene, an underpass is filled with nearly five to six feet of water, leaving multiple buses, lorries, and other vehicles completely stranded. Many of them are partially submerged, with their engines shut down and drivers nowhere in sight, indicating they were forced to abandon their vehicles as the water levels rose rapidly. Amidst the flooded chaos, a few local people can be seen swimming through the waterlogged underpass, navigating around the immobilized vehicles.
