In Satara a schedule for Chingaari is being shot by Kalpana Lajmi, with Sushmita Sen, Anuj Sahni and Mithun Charaborthy. Says Kalpana Lajmi: "Chingaari is a spark, when a young postman who is not a crusader who is an ordinary man comes and wakens the conscience comes and awakens the people. An average man of this moral dharam and stature can be either burned in the flame of his own power." Chingaari (Hindi: चिंगारि; English: Spark) is a 2006 Indian Hindi drama film directed by Kalpana Lajmi. The film is based on the novel, The Prostitute and the Postman by Bhupen Hazarika. This was the fourth to star Mithun Chakraborty in a negative role after Jallaad (1995), Elaan (2005 film) and Classic Dance of Love (2005).
