Both the Bhartiya Janta party and the Samajwadi Party is taking a claim to form a government in Uttar Pradesh. The political scene in the state has suddenly become hectic and Mayawati Government fell after the BJP withdrew its support. Analyst was certain with the respective strengths in the assembly. No political parties was in a position to offer a stable government in UP. Although all parties have asked for a dissolution of the assembly and called for fresh elections. The fact that the Uttar Pradesh assembly was kept in a state of suspended animation by governor has prompted the BJP and the SP to try and cobble a working majority in the state assembly.
