Wing Commander Paramvir Singh shares his experience on swim down the Ganga expedition. He says, "As we flagged off on 1st October 2015 Mr. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India flagged off the expedition. We have planned the entire thing as a relay format for three swimmers and I would be covering what eventually happened to that. Rafters from the Tri-services and then we had the two support vehicles which would come and join up every evening and we would camp by the side of the river. These three swimmers are the team members, they are the rafters they would scare us every night. Devprayag is the place where we started our swim and the first plunge happened on the 8th of October 2015. Water was very cold it was about 6 degrees.
