Like a brown swollen angry sea, the Vaitarna river flows over its banks and into the greenery of agricultural fields and village lands beyond, as a train crosses its vast expanse. After an initial crossing, one gets across a riverine island and once again experiences the river's mighty expanse with the threat of potential wrath were it to overflow its banks. Boatmen sit on the other side, waiting for the currents and eddies to subside before they can negotiate its waters once more...
