The little town of Kasol in Himachal Pradesh is called the backpacker's heaven! The Great Himalayas with their snow-capped peaks surround Kasol, situated 5380 feet above sea level. The Himachali village is inhabited by descendants of early natives who migrated there from Leh-Ladakh. Located not too far from the backpacker's town of Kasol in Himachal Pradesh is the tiny village of Chalal. The village Chala is located at an altitude of 5366 feet above sea level and is located on the banks of the river Parvati. Chalal can only be approached by foot from the town of Kasol by crossing a cable suspended bridge that has been built over the free-flowing river Parvati.
