The Uttarakhand state tableau moves along Rajpath in New Delhi during the 2019 Republic Day parade. The tableau depicts Anasakti Ashram in Kausani, where Mahatma Gandhi stayed in 1929 and wrote the preface to his work Anasakti Yoga. A sculpture of Gandhi writing is placed at the front, with a representation of the ashram, Himalayan mountains and deodar trees forming the backdrop. Large spectator stands and Indian national flags line the parade route as the tableau passes through the avenue.
