Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Indian filmmaker speaks about the sets of Hindi film 1942: A Love Story. He says, "It is actually a set which is a part of Dalhousie the town where I shot what you see here is actually we are recreating Dalhousie because I needed the whole town to burn in the end I obviously couldn't burn the real town ut this is actually a replica of parts of Dalhousie. The Bazar you see there is a place called Sadar Bazar which is actually in Dalhousie so part of Sadar Bazar has been recreated and obviously the lake and all are in addition there. In this town that I created which is a fiction town called Kasouni in the film that town had a lake so I have the part of Dalhousie will merge into the lake in but the big structure you see here is the base commander's office The Army base co
