These diverse threads have woven together in Indias to give birth to a rich tapestry of art forms both classical and [popular. Many exponents of Indian classical music whose genesis is found in Hindu Vedic literature are Muslims. Among them is the Sarod Maestro, Ustaad Amjad Ali Khan who traces his lineage to Miya Tansen. Ustad Amjad Ali Khan says, 'Even the call of prayer, from the mosque, 'Allah! ho Akbar'. So this is Allah ho Akbar is fine but there are musical notes behind that, or 'Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram, Patit Pavan Sita Ram!', this is the beauty of our country, despite so many religion, we depend on each other.' Living this very secular thought, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan has also been married to Hindu Subhalakshmi Barua, a trained Manipuri dancer from Assam since 1976. This footage is
