While at Sadarghat be prepared to make your own way through as the terminals are extremely crowded. Be extremely careful of the edge as you do not want to fall into the stinky dirty water of Buriganga River. The entry fee to Sadarghat is 10 taka per person. These small boats are also used as shops and they also carry food and water for stocking in cruise ships. Here you can find ferry rides to the other side of the river for 40 to 50 taka per person or you can take a sharing boat for 10 taka. If you wish to take a long ride on the river then you can rent the single boats for 150 taka for an hour. There are cruise ships here which are always docked as they are a picnic spot for the locals.
