A Mahindra Bolero and Scorpio cross the Lohit river in Arunachal Pradesh on a hand rowed boat. They drive through the river at its shallower parts and the cars are seen half covered in water. A bus is also seen crossing the river and seems to have got stuck in the middle. The Lohit River is a tributary to the Brahmaputra River. It rises in eastern Tibet, in the Zayal Chu range and surges through Arunachal Pradesh for 200 kilometres (120 mi) before entering the plains of Assam. Tempestuous and turbulent, and known as the river of blood, only partly attributable to the lateritic soil, it flows through the Mishmi Hills, to meet the Siang(Brahmaputra) at the head of the Brahmaputra valley.
