In a country where water is a rare commodity, Advait Kumar noticed the lack of access laborers have to drinking water. In designing the Swajal vending machine, it solves two problems: power cuts and access to drinking water, thus even with the grid not being operational, purified water can still be available. The Swajal vending machine is engineered to use solar power, to cleanse contaminated water by putting it through various cleaning processes.
