Sand bars, step cultivation of rice, village farming and thick rain forest all come together to create the landscape of Arunachal Pradesh, along the Siang river which enters from Tibet and exits into India's state of Assam, forming the massive Brahmaputra. Misty hills, fantastic birding habitat and mahseer (a sporting fish akin to the salmon) migration country mark this riverine landscape.
