The cute Magpie Robin is a jocular cheery bird that is common in city gardens with sufficient cover, nesting holes in tree trunks and under storey of shrubs. Seen here at the Wilderness Orchard in Delhi, this pied Magpie Robin is digging into the grass for insect prey. It's lifts and drops its tail in tandem with its movements, almost adding to its cheery demeanour.
