Dhobhi Ghat as seen from the Teeli Masjid or Jami Masjid Shahi. Hardinge Bridge or Pakka Pul that was constructed in 1914 can be seen above the river. Clothes hanging in lines can be seen. People washing clothes on the banks of the river and clothes are dried on the banks. Inaugurated on 10th January 1914 by Lord Hardinge. It was replaced by the earlier Stone Bridge. Also known as Laal Pul or Pakka Pul, it witnessed 100 glorious years of Lucknow. On the bank of river Gomti near the Hardinge Bridge, most popularly known as Pakka Pul or the Laal Pul, stands a beautiful mosque known as the Jami Masjid or Teele Wali Masjid. The exquisite monument is surrounded by the Bada Imambara, Rumi Darwaaza. The entry to the campus of the mosque is adjacent to the Laal Pul. This mosque has been attracting
