This is one of the easiest to grow ground orchids and flourishes and warm climes, in outdoor garden beds and shaded places. Phalaenopsis or Phaius tankervilleae (Nun's Orchid) flowering in Wilderness Orchard, Delhi. See the harvest from a single bed in spring 2020, during the lockdown! We had multiple harvests for self consumption... Once the flowers matured in vases, we retained them in water and in a few months' time, buds appeared on the dead flower stems! These turned into new orchid plants... This magnificent species is a very wide spread terrestrial, being found along the eastern seaboard of Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Indo-China, Thailand and on into Northern India.
