Shani Dev Temple is located in Kharsali village in Uttarkashi district, Uttarakhand, near the Yamunotri pilgrimage route. The traditional temple features wooden and stone construction and is decorated with orange marigold garlands. Kharsali serves as the winter seat of Goddess Yamuna when the Yamunotri Temple closes during the winter season. Inside the shrine, the deity is adorned with colourful garments and flower garlands, with devotional decorations surrounding the altar. Visitors and devotees can be seen at the temple, which holds religious significance for pilgrims visiting the region.
