Jagat Pundir speaks about the mule rescue during Kedarnath Flood in 2013. He says, "As soon as we heard about the Kedarnath flood 7 to 8 of us collected some cash and relief materials and left from Rishikesh. There were no tourists in Sonprayag at that time but a mule was stuck in the middle of the river. After that, we started rescuing tourists and it takes two days o rescue them. After the rescue, we kept the mule with us for two days after that the owner of the mule took it with him. Rajpal Rawat speaks about the mule rescue during Kedarnath Flood in 2013. He says, "A bridge was destroyed by the flood and the mule was stuck there two members of our team Rajat Pundir and Vikram Rana said we can rescue it if we can find a rope.
