Thousands of Demoiselle cranes making their migratory landing at a water hole in Khichan, Rajasthan. Khichan Villagers welcome Demoiselle cranes are migratory and fly in flocks of thousands and are known to be named by Queen Marie Antoinette for its delicate appearance. A Blue bull or Nilgai makes its appearance in the dry sandy terrain. The Nilgai is the largest antelope in Asia and endemic to the Indian sub-continent. Common Blue Rock Pigeons take advantage of the abundant grain spread out for the cranes.
