Mark Mutai says "What I can say is that my preparation towards this championship or preparation in my country for the sprints has been so tough. One thing we do not have are the facilities to train ourselves we just use the old way to train ourselves in Kenya. Sometimes we go for a long distance to get the facilities." Mark Kiprotich Mutai, also spelt Muttai, is a runner from Kenya, who specializes in 400 metres. He is a Commonwealth Games gold medallist. He competed at the 2009 world championships in Berlin, Germany, but did not advance from the heats.
