A large group of Himalayan Griffon Vultures were feeding at this carrion of a cow, outside a village in upper Uttarakhand. A village dog moved in to partake of the feast and chased off the Vultures who now patiently sit to one side and await their turn once more... The dog has hi entire face inside the rib cage of the bovine. Flies festoon the carcass - it is their feast too!
