Tall stacks of used vehicle tyres line the roadside at a tyre market in Azaad Market, Delhi. The narrow street is busy with green and yellow auto-rickshaws, cycle-rickshaws, motorcycles, cars and parked scooters moving around the tyre shops. Multi-storey concrete buildings with ground-floor shops line both sides of the road. Dense electrical and communication cables stretch overhead between the buildings and utility poles, adding to the crowded urban setting.
