Jalebi is a hot favourite on any special occasion be it a birthday, wedding or festival. Jalebis, though mostly eaten by themselves, can also be soaked in warm milk. Jalebi, a spiral-shaped crunchy sweet dipped in saffron laced sugar syrup, is the traditional Indian sweet. In the traditional method, batter prepared from maida and yoghurt is fermented for 24 hours whereas, in instant method, the batter is prepared using instant yeast and doesn’t require fermentation.
