The clouds near Lyngksiar Falls in Cherrapunji (Sohra), Meghalaya, it felt like I had stepped into another world. Thick white clouds rolled gently beneath my feet, drifting through the deep green valleys while the sound of cascading water echoed from below. From this height, the landscape feels endless — cliffs disappear into mist, forests fade into the clouds, and the waterfall flows as if it’s pouring straight into the sky. The cool mountain air, the silence broken only by nature, and the ever-moving clouds make this place feel unreal, almost dreamlike. Cherrapunji truly lives up to its name as the Abode of Clouds. Moments like this remind me how raw, untouched, and powerful nature can be. No filters. No rush. Just clouds, water, wind, and peace.
