Coal trains chug into Delhi. It is unbelievable that we still burn Koyla in Dilli and then blame cars and trucks as the only serious source of air pollution. Each day, we have been seeing dozens of coal trains enter Delhi! Look how many rakes of coal this ONE train has in its wake...! Coal mining and burning are perhaps one of the largest sourcee of atmospheric pollution in India. It would indeed be sad if New Delhi is still burning coal to generate power! We thought the Indraprastha Power plant was not defunct! Where is this coal heading to and where and for what will it be used? This is of grave consequence for the air quality of north India!
