In this archival interview, Pahlaj Nihalani reflects on the role of kismet (destiny) in the film industry, arguing that success is not determined by hard work alone. Drawing from his own experiences as a producer, he discusses launching newcomers in Bollywood and the importance of giving fresh talent an opportunity without preconceived industry perceptions. Nihalani recalls introducing several actors early in their careers, including Neelam, Suniel Shetty, Govinda, Chunky Pandey and Divya Bharti. He also speaks about the making of the 2008 film Khushboo, which featured debutants Rishi Rehan and Avantikka.
