Dark-Grey Bush Chat male approaches chicks with insect feed in its beak, at wildfilmsindia sanctuary Bird eating insect Uttarakhand A male Dark Grey Bush Chat nests in wildfilmsindia sanctuary in the Himalaya, and successfully fetches grubs and bees for its chicks within the nest in a hillside earth bank, between flowering Eregeron bellidioides daisies. It sits on a Berberis shrub and awaits the opportune time to get to the nest, when no predators are watching. After feeding the chicks, the bird carries away faecal globules to dispose off afar, to avoid predators from being able to find the best from the stench of accumulated faeces and droppings. Perched on a tree first, the Dark Grey-Bushchat (Saxicola ferreus) then flies off to its nest for paying a visit to the chick inside. Dark Grey-
