The objective of the November Conference is to further expand economic linkages with overseas Indians who have played an important role in nation building and are destined to make fundamental contributions to the future development of the country. Mr. Atal Behari Vajpayee, Prime Minister of India, inaugurates this conference. The other distinguished personalities invited to speak includes the Finance Minister, Commerce Minister, Industry Minister, the Minister of State for External Affairs, Secretaries to the Government of India, Secretaries of State Governments, prominent overseas community and others.
