Yamuna - Aglar junction : The Jamna river provides Delhi with most if its water, yet the river is abused and dammed shortly after it emanates from the Himalaya. Here the river is still in its prime and flower a nice emerald green. Surely the Yamuna is one of the most under-celebrated rivers in India in recent times! The Renuka Lake dam will be built for Delhi, and will lead to massive deforestation! See the massive sand bar before the Yamuna hits that rocky cliff and takes a sharp right turn, at the confluence with the Aglar river coming in from the mountainous south and valleys around Mussoorie and behind Jabbarkhet.
