The Naga waterfall plunges down steep rocks, thundering and crashing its way to the valley floor, in Sikkim. The foam that is created from the roaring waters is just something else. Ordinary water turns into a work of art in motion! With Buddhist prayer flags hung above the falls, trees stand in mute testimony to the poetry in motion taking place right around them... North Sikkim is subject to rockfall risk at times, thanks to the tall towering rock faces on both sides of the valley as one leads into Chungthang, and the volatile rock and water movement therein. This waterfall tumbles down into the valley, taking along with it masses of fresh water that breaks upon the large rocky surfaces below.
