Janki Chatti is midway destination during Yamunotri tour or Char dham yatra. Jankichatti is a highly famous tourist place situated near the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand. Jankichatti is a small town located on the way to Yamunotri Temple, famous for its hot water springs, and it is located at a distance of around three kilometers from Yamunotri. Perched at an elevation of about 2650m above the sea level. This area encompasses the last village of the region and the pilgrims are provided with moderate accommodation facilities here. Mountains exhibiting scenic views surround the town. Janki Chatti is an exotic place that is known well through the tourist ranks for serving as a base for pilgrims who travel to Yamunotri.
