1998 superhit blockbuster movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai costume auction for a cause of AIDS Awareness. The event was attended by the director of the movie Karan Johar along with Shahrukh Khan's wife Gauri Khan, Shweta Bachchan with husband Nikhil Nanda, Jackie Shroff, Nina Pillai, and the costume designers Rocky Bal and Manish Malhotra. The famous wedding costume worn by Kajol in her wedding scene was sold for a whopping 3 lacs, along with Shahrukh Khan's famous Polo T-shirt for 30 thousand rupees. Rani Mukherjee and Kajol's costumes were all sold out but Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan's costumes could not make any sale.
